Tara has 20 years' experience in the field of Human Resources and is a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and MII (Mediators Institute of Ireland). She started her career as a trainee on the IBEC Graduate Training Programme and spent several years advising companies on all aspects of employee relations and employment law matters.

Previous positions she held include senior HR roles in Ulster Bank Markets and Abbey National Financial and Investment Services. Most recently, her work in Mercer focused on the need to formulate Employee Engagement strategies regarding pension benefits and more specially the need to be creative and innovative when communicating with and educating members.
